In America there are 443,000 children in foster care. Despite certain efforts to prevent the removal of children from their parents, the number of youths in foster care has been increasing. According to the children’s rights foundation, while the goal is to place foster children with their family or new adoptive homes, the sad reality is that many of these youths languish for years in foster care/homes or institutions.
